Iron River, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) -- A Brainerd man has drowned on a lake in Iron River after he was visiting with family.
On September 17 at 11:15 a.m. the Town of River Police Department responded to Half Moon Lake on the report of a man that had possibly been a victim of drowning.
Officers located 46-year-old Steven M. Lee of Brainerd unresponsive, face down in the water.
Further investigation shows that it was determined Lee had been in the water for several days.
The incident is believed to be an accidental drowning pending autopsy reports.
The Town of Iron River Ambulance, Town of Iron River Dive Team and Bayfield County Coroner also assisted the incident.
