Chisholm police investigating armed robbery

Chisholm, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Chisholm Police Department is investigating the armed robbery of the Chisholm Freedom Value Station.

Police say a man entered the station, located off 1st Avenue and Lake Street, around 4:55 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities say the suspect brandished a weapon and ordered the clerk to the floor before taking an undisclosed amount of money from the till and fleeing on foot.

No one was physically injured in the robbery.

Police say the man was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with a white Nike emblem on the front, black gloves, blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a black ski mask.
