Deerwood, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Cloquet truck driver was involved in a fatal crash Thursday morning in Northern Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 53-year-old Raymond Richard was on County Road 12, West of Deerwood, when he lost control of his Ford Ranger.
Authorities say he crossed the center line and was struck by an oncoming semi and died at the scene.
Richard was from Merrifield, MN.
47-year-old William Hanson of Cloquet was the driver of that truck. He wasn't hurt.
The State Patrol says the road was icy at the time of the accident.
