Duluth Businesswoman Dies During Vacation in Greece

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- The Executive Officer of the Arrowhead Builders Association has passed away while on vacation in Greece.

According to our partners at the Duluth News Tribune, Ongaro was killed in a boating accident in the Mediterranean Sea as she and her husband, Frank Ongaro, were vacationing in Greece.

According to Robin Ongaro's LinkedIn page, Ongaro was the Executive Director at Grand Avenue Business Association as well as the Vice President in Marketing & Business Development at the Members Cooperative Credit Union.

Ongaro was also the President of the Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce and served on the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce.

She was the Membership Director for Iron Mining Association of Minnesota and is a graduate of Blandin Leadership.

Ongaro has a B.A. in Management from The College of St. Scholastica and graduated Summa cum laude.

Robin is married to Frank Ongaro, who is the Executive Director of MiningMinnesota.
