Eveleth Woman in Critical Condition after Car Accident near Virginia

Virginia, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- An Eveleth woman is in critical condition after her car was struck broadside by another vehicle on Highway 135 and County Road 921 outside of Virginia.

At 10:30 Wednesday morning, 86-year-old Ellen S. Pedicini was driving eastbound and was struck by 55-year-old Daniel J. Asp of Gilbert, MN after she attempted a U-turn.

86-year-old Louis J. Pedicini, the passenger in Ellen's car, suffered non life threatening injuries while Asp did not suffer any injuries.

The road conditions were listed as icy.
