Bemidji, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- An accidental fiber cut in Beltrami County has limited the ability for people to call 911 from a cell phone, and has since been repaired around 5:30 p.m. and all systems are up and running.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office said citizens who have cell phone coverage with AT&T, Verizon or Northern PCS will not be able to call 911, doing so will produce a busy signal.
Users who have Northern PCS are affected for Polk, Clearwater, Itasca, Cass, Lake, Beltrami, Hubbard and Pennington.
Verizon Wireless users for Beltrami, Itasca, Cass, Hubbard, Koochiching, Polk, Roseau, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Pennington, Clearwater, Mahnomen, Norman and Lake counties are affected.

The fiber cut affects the information that comes up on the Dispatcher's screen that automatically produces the automatic location identifier.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office has two lines working for 911.
