Gilbert Mayor Bellerud, Eliminated in Mayoral Primary

Gilbert, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Gilbert Mayor Don Bellerud was eliminated in the city's mayoral primary Tuesday.

The unofficial final numbers indicate that candidate Michael Skenzich received 303 votes and candidate Tom Nemanick received 134 votes.

Bellerud received 62 votes.

Both Skenzich and Nemanick will move onto the ballot in November for the race for Gilbert mayor.
