Aurora, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A 19-year-old Gilbert woman has been charged after allegedly entering an elderly woman's home with a gun.

Jessica Zapf is facing charges of burglary, theft and an outstanding warrant after the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department says she entered the home near the junction of Highway 100 and County road 111 in Aurora at 12:45 a.m. Monday.

Officers were able to get the elderly woman safely out of her home and took Zapf into custody without incident. Sheriff's deputies were led to Zapf after investigating a report of a woman walking without proper clothing on a rural road south of Aurora.

Deputies say the gun with Zapf was stolen from a nearby residence.
