St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - There's major support for a congressional bill that aims to put a stop to a threat to Minnesota's waterways.
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, US Senator Amy Klobuchar and state lawmakers announced details during the fourth Asian Carp Summit in St. Paul Wednesday afternoon.
The Department of Natural Resources will soon provide the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with a final barrier proposal for Lock and Dam One on the Mississippi River.
