Supporters are looking to add 60 additional seats to the main theater, build a studio theater with 200 new seats and expand the lobby area.
Built in 1981, the center has enjoyed great popularity and has welcomed a diverse range of world-class performers to its stage.
Members of the Senate Capital Investment Committee are touring the state gathering information for next year's state bonding bill.
