St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board Commissioner Anthony "Tony" Sertich will be taking on another role in the Northland.
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has appointed Sertich to the Seaway Port Authority of Duluth and will be replacing Lowell Hellervik as the Treasurer.
Sertich will begin his term on February 25th and will extend until January of 2019.
Sertich is a fourth generation Iron Ranger and was appointed commissioner of the IRRRB in January of 2011 by Governor Dayton.
Previous to his appointment on the IRRRB, Sertich served in the Minnesota House of Representatives for over a decade. In 2006, Sertich was elected House Majority Leader.
