(Northland's NewsCenter) -- An Iron Range man has been indicted on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm in Federal court on Tuesday.
48-year-old, John Carl Pape, of Virginia, was also charges of possessing, concealing and storing a stolen firearm.
The criminal complaint states that Pape possessed a .38 caliber five-shot revolver.
Pape has been convicted of 2nd and 3rd Degree Burglary in 1991,1994 and 2004.
Pape was also convicted of 5th Degree Sale of Marijuana in 1998 and 5th Degree Possession of Drugs in 2007 and 2008.
