Last Minnesota Contestant Out at Scripps Spelling Bee

Washington, D.C. (NNCNOW.com) - The final Minnesota contestant in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, will soon be on her way home.

14-year-old Emma Greenlee of Mesabi East High School in Aurora misspelled the word Sarrusophone.

Greenlee was one of five contestants from Minnesota that had advanced.
The other four were eliminated before the semifinals.

The winner will take more than $30,000 in cash home.

A Sarrusophone is a musical instrument, related to the oboe.
