Ely, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- After counting up about 6,000 votes for each cubs' name, Lily the Bear's 9 week old cubs finally have names of their own.

Introducing Eli and Ellie!

For a week, fans of the North American Bear Center voted for 10 possible names for the new cubs. Lily Fans spoke decisively with 6,057 votes for the male and 5,955 votes for the female.

The top votes for the male cub were Eli (1,805), Asher (1,429), and Charlie (622). For the female cub, it was Ellie (2,468), Charity (1,063), and Clover (653).

Both cubs have been very active in their den with Ellie hanging from the rafters and even attempting to climb onto the den cam. Eli has been non-stop running around the den as well.
