Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - If you've been wanting to appear in the Hollywood spotlight, now is your chance.
A Los Angeles Film company is set to begin shooting an action movie in the Northland during the first part of September.
Almighty Dog Entertainment will shoot the movie "Sdanka’s War" on the Iron Range, areas of the North Shore and in Duluth.
"Sdanka's War" is an action film set mostly in Eastern Europe dealing with human trafficking (think La Femme Nikta meet Predator meets modern day A-team).
And they're in need some fresh, local faces.
The company will hold two casting calls this week in Minnesota.
Those interested in being a part of the film should review the Casting Notes and contact Almighty Dog Casting immediately, as casting is slated for:
•Minneapolis on Wednesday August 21st from 5-8pm at the MN Film & TV Offices.
•Eveleth on Saturday, August 24th from 1p-5p at the Mesabi Station.
Anyone interested in auditioning for the film or being an extra in the film is asked to email a headshot photo and resumes to firstname.lastname@example.org

"Our office is delighted to welcome Almighty Dog Entertainment and the film "Sdanka's War" to northeastern Minnesota. It's the first feature film to qualify for both the Snowbate production incentive and the new IRRRB incentive," said Lucinda Winter of Minnesota Film and TV. "It's really exciting to see filming activity begin to pick up so soon after these two programs were funded."
Griffin Productions, Kernz & Kompany, and the Upper Minnesota Film Office helped bring the film shoot to the Northland.
