St. Paul, MN (NNCOW.com) - From education to taxes, the Minnesota DFL Senate plans to introduce their first set of bills Thursday morning in St. Paul.

One of the bills, authored by Senator Tom Bakk (DFL - Cook), includes authorizing funding for voluntary, full-day kindergarten in the state.

Other bills propose an increase on the minimum wage requirements for large employers to $7.50 an hour. Another repeals the sales tax exemption for clothing costing more than $200.

The Healthcare Exchange is also included in the stack of bills.

The Senate meets Thursday at 11 a.m.
