St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Nearly half of the wolves available for Minnesota's early season have been taken in the first four days of the hunt.
According to the Department of Natural Resources 52 wolves have been harvested in the North West and North East zones.
The target harvest for both zones is 106 wolves.
The firearm and bow hunt opened Saturday, November 9th.
It is schedule to continue through November 24th, providing targets are not met early.
The Late hunting season for wolves in Minnesota which includes trapping will run from November 30th through January 31st, 2014.
