Orr, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - City officials are hoping Orr will become a destination for both tourists and those looking to live and work in the area.
They're working with an architect to improve the look and feel of the downtown area in addition to enhancing community attractions.
Mayor Dale Long says the project is important for vitality of the community.
"We need people to come that want to stay, possibly stay to live [in Orr] and maybe work out of their home," Long said.
City officials hope to develop detailed design plans and complete the project by early 2013.
