Virginia, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The origins of an early morning porch fire in Virginia have been deemed suspicious.
According to Virginia Fire Department officials, the fire was reported by a neighbor along the 300 block of Sixth Avenue North just before 6 Sunday morning.
Crews reported that the trash against an exterior door had been ignited, which in turn burned through to trash inside the front upstairs porch of the residence.
It was confined to that space when it was extinguished, but not before causing $15,000 dollars in damages.
The fire is currently under investigation. Mountain Iron also responded to the scene.
