Grand Rapids, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A 64 year old man is in the hospital after he rolled his car along Highway 2 near Grand Rapids.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, authorities received a report of a car accident around 10 AM Wednesday morning.
The incident report states that the man was driving his Ford Explorer along Highway 2 when he lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic. The car then entered the ditch and rolled over.
The man was ejected from the car. He has been flown to St. Mary's in Duluth for serious injuries.
The man's name and his condition is expected to the released later this week pending family notification.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Coleraine Police Department, Grand Rapids Police Department and Itasca County Sheriff's Office all responded to the accident.
