Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Severe storms seem to be the cause of regional power outages throughout Northeastern Minnesota.

According to Lake Country Power's website, over 3,000 customers are currently without power as of nine Saturday evening.

The outages span from Round Lake and Wright, just west of Duluth, to clusters of outages just south of Ely.

There is no estimated time for when the power will be restored in the affected areas, but crews say they are currently working to fix it.

The status of the outages is updated on the Lake County Power Website.
