Strong Storms Possible Tonight

A slight risk of severe storms has been highlighted for Duluth and areas west including the Iron Range for an expected line of strong storms moving in along a cold front tonight. The first wave of storms will move in tonight after 9pm for areas on the Range. In Duluth, the storms will arrive after midnight.

Storms containing Large Hail of 1 inch in diameter and strong wind gusts of up to 60mph could be possible tonight.. Isolated tornadoes can also be possible with severe weather.

Flooding Advisories are also in effect until 1:45pm Tuesday for Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron County. Minor flooding may occur in these areas if additional rainfall arrives tonight. There was already over 2" of rain in these areas earlier.
