Chisholm, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A 29-year-old Hibbing woman is said to be in good condition after she fell 75 feet into a mine pit in Chisholm.

A spokesperson for Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital said Molly Van Dyke suffered bruises, lacerations and a broken neck in Monday's incident.

Hibbing Firefighters deployed its tactical rescue team to rescue the woman from the pit, which is considered private property.

Van Dyke is expected to make a full recovery.

The Hibbing and Chisholm Fire Departments, St. Louis Co. Rescue Squad, Chisholm Police and Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol all assisted in the response.
