Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Less than ten members remain without power tonight in Northeastern Minnesota in the wake of high winds.
The stormy weather knocked out power to more than 2,500 Lake Country Power members Thursday night. Lake Country Power line crews were able to make progress despite wet and windy conditions.
Crews say downed power lines Thursday evening led to well above 50 different power outages, a majority of them in Grand Rapids and in Mountain Iron. Crews worked into the night to restore power.
