The Iron Range will be celebrating some good news tomorrow.

United States Steel CEO John Goodish plans to announce the details of a proposed "major capital investment" program at the Keetac mine at 2 p-m.

Details of the investment haven't been released but some high power people will be at Keewatin City Hall for the announcement.

Among those scheduled to be there are Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, U.S. Senators Norm Coleman and Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota State Senators Tom Saxhaug and David Tomassoni, Minnesota State Representative Tom Anzelc, Keewatin Mayor Tom Sampson, and Nashwauk Mayor Bill Hendricks.

We'll have a crew from Range 11 at the announcement and will have full details tomorrow on the Northland's News Center.
