By KBJR News 1

A Minnesota school that was the site of a double homicide in 2003 once again faced a frightening situation Wednesday.

A chlorine gas leak in the pool at Rocori High School in Cold Spring sent 38 people to the hospital today 37 of them were students.

The school was evacuated just before 2:00 PM.

The St. Cloud Fire Department sent in a hazardous materials crew and the St. Cloud Hospital set up an emergency response team to handle the volume of incoming patients.

Rocori Superintendent Scott Staska says school officials are still at a loss to explain how it happened. Chlorine levels in the air are down to zero and are normal in the pool. Classes are expected to resume Thursday.
