Wisconsin Rep. Frank Boyle Announces Retirement

Wisconsin state representative Frank Boyle of Superior surprised many with an announcement this morning that he was retiring from the State Assembly.

The 22-year veteran lawmaker was first elected in 1986.

Before that he was on the Douglas County Board.

In a news release Boyle said it's been a tremendous run which he enjoyed immensely.

He went on to say the time has come for him to retire, travel with his wife, and enjoy more time with his family.

Boyle is 63.
