Duluth, MN (Northland’s NewsCenter) --- Flood victims on the pathway to recovery received some help finding financial resources today.

Help Centers run by Flood Homes with Hope were open today in Duluth, Cloquet and Moose Lake.

Disaster Case Managers helped people with the details of loan and aid applications.

The deadline for individuals and families to apply for Small Business Loans for property flood assistance is Oct. 15.

Case managers say applying for the SBA loans is an important first step in the recovery process.

"We talk to them about going to either one roof housing, to apply for a Minnesota Quick Start application loan or contacting AEOA or Lake and Pines, wherever they may reside," Adam Palan, Disaster Case Manager said.

The centers will also be set up Saturday Oct. 13 at the Duluth Public Library, Fond du Lac Community Center and Moose Lake High School from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
