51st Annual Lions Club Pancake Day

Many people got seconds, even thirds at this year's Lion's Club Pancake Day Breakfast.

People got to eat and chat with friends and neighbors all while participating in a good cause. LeAnn Wallace has the story.

"I'm so full right now... I think I'm going to need a wheel chair to get out of here."

Pancakes...Toppings....Sausage and more...were all served today as part of the Duluth Lion's Club 51st annual Pancake Day.

President of the Duluth Lions Club Bob Howe says they expect to raise 50–thousand dollars with all proceeds benefiting the local community.

"We support projects for American Diabeties, Lions Eye Bank, the Lighthouse for the blind, We have a number of projects involving the youth."

"The Duluth Lions Club predicts over 50,000 pancakes are being made throughout the day to 12–thousand hungry breakfast lovers."

"The Pancakes are good, The Service is good, the sausage is good."
But the food wasn't the only motive that brought some people to the breakfast.

"Lots of people we know here, That's the fun part. Lots of people we know."
