Duluth Dogs Take Owners for Walk

Hundreds of dogs took their owners for a walk in Duluth today.

It was the sixteenth annual Walk For Animals.

All types of dogs big and small short and tall got exercise for a good cause.

The walk takes place to support the Animal Allies Humane Society adoption, spay and neuter and education programs.

The event also included a "cutest puppy contest", raffle drawings, microchipping for keeping track of you family pet, and the neuter commuter was on site and open for tours!

hi, i'm from Hibbing and don't own a dog, but did the walk and truly enjoyed the dogs. it was a very well put together event. i plan to go again next year to. I only wish i could put my two beautiful cats on a leash and take them too!! thank-you for the wounderful day
