Classic Cars Celebrate Minnesota's 150th Birthday

By KBJR News 1

Thousands of horses gathered in Cloquet today.

No, we're not talking about the animal, but the horse power of over thirty classic cars on display to celebrate the sesquicentennial anniversary of Minnesota.

Vehicles on display ranged from Cadillacs to Mustangs, and cars from the 19-30's to as recent as 2005.

Owners have been restless to finally get their hot rods out after such a long winter.

The state hit its one- hundred- and- fiftieth year of statehood today, making it the thirty- second state on this day in 1858.
