Long Range Facility Plan Gains More Support

A local "grassroots group" has thrown its support behind Duluth's Long Range Facility plan...designed to reduce and reorganize the district's school buildings. "Move Forward Duluth" is a group dedicated to informing the public of the benefits of the long range facility plan.

"We are a group that stands firmly behind the plan that was adopted and voted on and which is now being implemented. And most importantly we believe the benefits of this plan for our district, our community and most importantly our kids are what we need to focus on"

18-months in the planning, the long range facilities plan received a unanimous vote of support from the volunteer citizens group...that worked through the process.

It has also earned the support of the Duluth Chamber Board.
