Lake Vermillion To Be Home Of New MN State Park

There will be a new state park on Minnesota's Lake Vermilion.

Included in the final deal between the governor and lawmakers is a borrowing measure for the new state park to be located on the Tower end of Lake Vermilion.

Budget allocations allow the state to spend up to 20- million dollars to acquire land for the park.

Any leftover money can be used to furnish the park.
