Fire Destroys Duluth Firefighter's Home

By KBJR News 1

Fire has destroyed the Fredenberg Township home of a Duluth firefighter.

The blaze was reported just before eleven Wednesday morning.

Seven fire crews including the air-guard responded to help fight the fire.

The home belongs to Tim Aune who works for the Duluth Fire Department.

Fire officials say Aune was off-duty at the time, and no one was home when the fire began.

After hours of battling the blaze, the fire was finally contained, but the house was a complete loss.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire.
