By KBJR News 1

A fire this morning has destroyed one home in West Duluth and damaged another.

Two residents living at 613 North 21st avenue west were awakened by the sounds of the fire around 2:30 this morning.

Investigators believe the blaze started outside, near a back–yard shed, and spread to the house.

Officials say a neighboring home also sustained about $50,00 in damage.

Damage to the home, where the fire began, is estimated at $120,000.

Fire investigators are on the scene looking for a cause.
