Coleman To Tour 148th Fighter Wing

Senator Norm Coleman is proposing the F-35 Lightning be included in possible upgrades for the 148-th Fighter Wing.

He and Major General Larry Shellito will be in Duluth on Friday to tour the 148-th base in support of upgrading the unit's aircraft and mission.

Coleman is an ardent supporter of the 148th.

Last month, he announced the Fighter Wing received initial authorization to receive 4.5 million dollars to build a new fuel cell hangar.
