Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- A $2,240 grant for WITC will be used to purchase a Lego Robotics Kits in hopes of interesting children in the fields of science and technology. The grant was presented by the Arrowhead Manufacturers and Fabricators Association Educational Trust (AMFA-ET) to support the annual College of Kids summer camps. College for Kids is designed to serve a broad age range of children (ages 3 to 15) in a variety of learning atmospheres. The Lego Robotics kits introduce students to STEM, which promotes science, technology, engineering and math concepts that are needed for the growing manufacturing and fabricating industry and careers. These kits will help WITC to double the number of camp opportunities it provides in Ashland and Superior. Posted to the web by Krista Burns
