International Falls, MN (NNCNOW.com) - International Falls got a monetary boost Wednesday from the US Economic Development Association to help in the city's economic recovery.
The $200,000 dollar grant is geared toward establishing an economic recovery strategy in the border town.
This comes in the wake of last year's massive layoffs at the Boise Paper Mill.
More than 300 employees were let go.
The company was bought out by Packaging Corporation of America.
