Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Thousands of people from across the Midwest flocked to the event to enjoy everything from the latest in outdoor gear to the perfect vacation getaway.

Attendees also received access to the Northland Outdoor Deer Classic after purchasing their boat show ticket. The classic has been running in conjunction with the boat show for three years.

According to Jane Anderson—of the Miche Bag Company—attendees were in high spirits.

"I think they love it. I think the kangaroos were a big draw, the weather was wonderful. We haven't totaled today's [numbers] yet, but at the end of yesterday, we did more than we did all of last year. So, we just know that we did better this year than last year," said Anderson.

According to sales numbers from previous years, the Boat Show put the total fresh–cash–insertion into the area at an average of $25,000,000 in the 5 days the event runs.
