2013 Port Cities Woman of the Year Announced

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Eight women were nominated but only one can walk away with the title of "Port Cities Woman of the year".

Diane Kettulhut is this year's proud recipient of the titlle, given at the 65th Annual Port Cities Luncheon Wednesday afternoon

Kettelhut was nominated by Essentia Health Miller Dwan Auxiliary, Viewcrest Health Center and Franciscan Health Center for being an active volunteer and leader in her community.

The eight women that were nominated were chosen for their outstanding volunteerism.

"These ladies are phenomenal in what they do for their community and their churches and just all around," said Chair of the Committee Gloria Brunette.

In addition to the Woman of the Year award, eight outstanding students from area schools were recognized at the meeting for time spent volunteering.
