Late Night Fire At Duluth's Arthur's Formal Wear

By KBJR Manager

Fire crews and the Duluth Police Department were kept busy Thursday morning, battling a blaze at Arthur’s Mens Formal Wear on First Street in Downtown Duluth.

Eye witnesses called authorities after noticing thick black smoke billowing out of the building just before midnight.

Officials tell the NewsCenter that the fire apparently started on the main floor of the business.

Crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames, yet smoke continued to pour from the building long after the fire was out.

Authorities expect the smoke damage to be severe.

Nobody was injured, and crews are investigating the source of the blaze.
