Ironwood, MI (NNCNOW.com) --- Three people have been charged after active meth labs were found in two different homes in Ironwood. The Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team along with the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant at a home on the 200 block of West Ayer Street just after 8:30 Wednesday night. When authorities entered house they found an active meth drug lab. Authorities executed another search warrant just after 2:30 Thursday morning on the 200 block of South Mansfield Road. When officials entered the home, they found evidence of prior methamphetamine cooks. Three people have been charged in connection with the incident: 53-year-old Tina Marie Rapley was charged with eleven different drug charges including 7 counts of operating and maintaining a meth lab. 52-year-old Gerald Abramson was charged with seven felony drug charges including possession of meth and operating a lab in the presence of a minor. 43-year-old Michelle Lee Kitto was charged with six felony drug charges including operating a meth lab and operating a lab in the presence of a minor.
