Jauch To Chair Committee For Dealing With Disasters

Wisconsin State Senator Bob Jauch will head a group of Wisconsin lawmakers and emergency officials to study how to best maintain government during disasters.

The committee expects to update emergency management statutes.

It also expects to make recommendations on lines of succession in government, an alternate site for state government and suspension of quorum requirements for the Legislature to take action.

The committee will meet for the first time July 30th.
