One Injured, Another Arrested In Downtown Duluth Stabbing

One man was injured and another arrested following a stabbing early Thursday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the #1 alley west of Lake Avenue after receiving a report of a person being stabbed.

Witnesses there had detained a 26–year old man, who was taken into custody.

The 32–year old victim was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for a stab wound to his left shoulder.

The victim and suspect did not know each other.

A police K-9 unit assisted in locating the weapon.

The suspect is being held at the St. Louis County jail pending formal charges of 2nd degree assault.

Officials say there are no other suspects involved.

I dont think you have all the facts about the July 3, 2008 incident in Duluth, and I think your story is one sided. As far as I know there was was one but two injured in this incident. The 26 year old, my son told me the guy, the 32 year old assaulted him, hit him in the face first, gave him a bloodynose, my son said he had blood all over him from the 32 year old old hitting him and a black eye, and he, the 26 year old said he was defending himself from the 32 year old who assaulted hit first.
