Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Locally Laid Egg Company is stepping up its efforts to get people to vote for them.

The goal is to get their ad played for free during this year's Super Bowl.

“Well I’m not the most sustainable guy, but when she clucked at me I nearly started to cry, oh Lola,” supporters sang.

Company leaders say whether they win or not they're enjoying this national competition which has brought a lot of attention to their company and the northland.

A group gathered at Skyline Parkway in Duluth this morning to get the word out on how people can vote for Lola; all of the company's chickens are named Lola.

Locally Laid is currently up against GoldieBlox of California, Barley Labs of North Carolina and Dairy Poop of Idaho.

The winner of the contest gets to run a thirty second commercial during the Super Bowl
