Charges Won't Be Filed Against Woman In Husband's Death

By KBJR News 1

Charges will not be filed against the Floodwood woman whose husband died as a result of stab wounds during a domestic dispute.

After a lengthy investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office authorities say it was determined that Jamie Juusola was acting in self-defense when she stabbed her husband Steven.

Police reports say he was arguing with her and then began pushing her.

That's when, the report says, she retreated and he threw a chair at her and continued to come at her.

In order to defend herself she grabbed a knife and stabbed him.
