Keep your eyes on the skies...The Duluth Air Show is here.
We begin tonight with two live reports
One with Trevor Roy...but we'll start with LeAnn Wallace.
And LeAnn has evidently recovered enough from her flight earlier this week to go back.
LeAnn... how are things coming along out there?
Pat. I spent most of my day here at the site of the Duluth Air Show...and there was a huge crowd gathered already hoping to get a glimpse of all the pilots practicing.
I was lucky enough to get in on the action myself...
Planes...planes...and more planes is the theme this weekend in Duluth.
From rare U.S World War II fighter planes... to the Blue Angels themselves...the sky will be full of a variety of different aircraft all weekend long.
Duluthians got the opportunity to see three World War II fighter planes fly together over the Duluth International Airport...
And that's only the beginning of the excitement.
It's been five year's since the Blue Angels last visited Duluth to perform some of the best aerobatic maneuvers in the world....
Major Nathan Miller spends a lot of his time in the sky...as the pilot of Blue Angel number six. Major Miller says it's a whole different world thousands of feet up.
"It's a totally different perspective on life, I mean looking down and seeing where you usually are living day to day and to do it at the persican we get to train to, the speeds we get to train too whether it be the C–1–30's or the F–18's... It's exhilarating."
I got the chance to experience some exhilaration myself, hopping on board with the Blue Angles in their C–1–30 aircraft, affectionately called, "Fat Albert"
Fat Albert plays a big part in the show.
"As well as the maintained back up and all the extra tools, we bring on fat Albert, we start off the show, we do a demonstration ourselves before the jets."
I buckled up... and prepared for what was the wildest rollercoaster ride I've ever experienced...

Pat... My adrenaline is still rushing...I can't imagine what it must be like for these pilots who get to do that over in over 35 cities a year.
LeAnn...when does the show start tomorrow?
The gates open at nine, the flying is scheduled to begin at eleven.
