Park Point 5 Miler

More than 500 hundred runners and walkers laced up their shoes Friday night on Park Point.

They were there to take part in the 37th annual Park Point 5 Miler which is northern Minnesota's oldest road race.

The five mile run kicked off at 6:30pm and the top male finisher was 30 year old Jeremy Polson of Duluth with a time of 25:45.

For the women the top finisher was 24yr old Jen Houck of Duluth with a time of 29:11.

Money raised from the race will be donated to the Young Athletes Foudation.
