Ladysmith Murder Trial Postponed

A judge has decided to move the trial of a northern Wisconsin man accused of fatally shooting a college student nearly 30 years ago.

The trial has also been postponed.

Harry John Rogers is charged with first-degree murder in the August 1979 death of 27-year-old Robert Pfeil outside his rural Ladysmith home.

The change of venue came because each of the jurors selected...indicated they had read or heard something about the murder.

The ruling came today and court officials say no new date for the trial has been set.
