NorShor Experience Alcohol Sales Still Allowed

By KBJR Manager

After five and half hours of debate, Duluth's Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission decided to allow the NorShor Experience to keep its liquor license.

The city wanted the strip club's liquor license to be revoked because of alleged drug use, sex acts and theft.

However, several Duluth police officers testified that after they met and discussed possible solutions with the owner, in March, calls for police service dropped drastically.

Instead of revoking the license, the commission will recommend to city council that NorShor Experience pay a fine of seven- hundred- and- fifty dollars and be closed for one day.

If the club goes a year without any violations, it will receive $500.00 back.
